finally, I am able to get to post here...don't know what I was doing wrong before. Anyways, yes, sadly, it all seems a dream, yet I have all the pictures to prove otherwise. Interestingly, yesterday while driving around doing errands, I was getting quite irritated and was ready to transport myself back to Scotland. It really is amazing how much more tranquil it is in Scotland. I had noticed it before on my previous trips to Scotland, but this time seems to be much more pronounced! Have any of you noticed this as well? Once again, I have been very fortunate not to suffer from any jet-lag, even after having to turn right around & fly right back out in less than 12 hrs for an urgent site visit at the Palo Alto VA Med. Ctr. in San Francisco!! So, it is right back to the auld work grind! But, it won't be so bad as I will be involved in training the multi-zoned team members for the next two weeks at our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. Just won't like the mugginess & the midges there!! Definitely taking my special essential oil blend that is very effective in keeping them at bay! Worked well in Scotland, so should work very well in WI!!
I want to tell each of you how much I enjoyed meeting & spending time with each of you. You are a phenomenol group of women, such fun loving, enthusiastic, warm & lovely women. I especially loved watching everyone's reactions as we toured Scotland, especially since this was very new to most of you. I loved seeing the reactions that everyone experienced while discovering this gorgeous country that has become very dear to me. Don't be surprised if indeed I do end up retiring here. I think I will relish the quiet & solitude that Scotland offers, not to mention being able to share Scotland with my children & grand-children.
I wish each of you a wonderful week coming up, but make sure to take some time out of your busy schedules to reflect & remember your time in Scotland.
Hugs to each of you,
Deborah aka Pacifica
